The Star TSP100 futurePRNT series of thermal receipt printers is provided with all standard operating systems drivers (Windows, Linux and Mac) and specialty drivers such as OPOS and JavaPOS.

The new GT version offers a high print speed of 250mm per second combined with a high gloss piano finish and the LAN version features an Ethernet interface with "Keep Alive" feature. This communicates with any networked host and automatically prints an error if the connection is lost due to PC / Hub failure or cable damage.

A powered USB version benefits from improved cable management and, more importantly, is able to cost-effectively use the same UPS on both your POS station and printer at the same price as a traditional printer.

The new Star TSP100 ECO model has a host of energy and cost saving features. It's power saving mode places the printer into standby whenever the host PC goes into standby, using up to 40% less power and earning the Star TSP100 ECO Energy Star compliance. Paper saving features to reduce the top margin and a "receipt on demand" tool allows the retailer to choose whether or not a receipt is printed. Paper saving of upto 70% can be achieved.
