The MR-2000 series is a range of magnetic stripe readers with a heavy-duty die-cast metal case. Available with either a keyboard wedge, RS232C Serial or USB interface, they feature a built-in decoder, bi-directional manual swipe read, status LED & programmable output format. Connecting the units to the PC is straightforward, making the unit simple to install and use.The power for the keyboard wedge unit is taken from the PC via the interface cable so there is no need for any additional PSU. The RS232C unit requires an additional 5VDC PSU.
